What can I say about Weight Watchers? The points system works so well, I love it! In the past I lost almost 70 lbs.!
That is an amazing feat for me! I never took that much weight off! I feel like it is fun to count your points and budget them
like money! I look at something with high points and I say no way I am not using that many points! Its very challenging. And
to watch the weight drop off and the clothes sizes start to go down! Nothing is more fun! Besides the added benefit of higher
confidence which gets you to start trying new, exciting activities! I just went roller skating over the weekend! What fun!
I loved it! I also noticed not alot of adults were doing it, they were watching their kids! Why not? Get up and LIVE! Try
different things! After having my last baby, I did gain back 40 lbs. but now as my son gets alittle older, I am ready to get
back on track! I am optimistic that I am starting 30 lbs. ahead of the game! I am excited to be teaching my kids a new way
to eat! Not McDonalds, but shrimp with broccoli or chicken marsala! Healthy and delicious, the kids actually enjoy the food
I cook! We do have our "didnt come out so great" recipes we have to get through like low fat macaroni and cheese. Dont know
if I made it wrong but it was BAD! LOL Comes with the territory, gotta try it to know. We never knew we liked asparagus or
zucchini! But we love both! I've been doing 20-30 minutes a day (which equals 2 miles) on my Tony Little Gazelle. Fun and
easy! I watch Regis and Kelly while doing it! Goes fast! The only thing that makes me alittle nuts about losing weight is
how slow it takes to come off but I know thats just how it is! Well I am very close to getting down into the 230's, I cant
wait! That helps when just working on each section of numbers! I hopefully will be getting some pics up on here soon! Keep
up YOUR good work and remember you are not alone!
An update: I got weighed in today (Feb. 2nd) and lost 4 lbs.! Which brings me up
to 10 lbs. total! Great! So afterward my kids and I said lets have fast food, we were all in the mood and had already got
weighed in but then it occured to me, in a half an hour whatever I eat, fast food or something healthy, I will be full and
it wont have mattered what I put in mouth! So they got the fast food and I came home and ate a Lean Cuisine pizza and am now
feeling pretty good about my decision. So I realized thats a pretty good way of looking at it!
Update on new charms for charm bracelet, I just purchased a roller skate and a
life preserver. The roller skate is for my skating, I would never have roller skated at 280 lbs. and the life preserver is
symbolizing saving my life.
Went roller skating again Feb. 19, 2007,
love it! Also I keep up with my Gazelle twice a day. Want to add different types of exercise to my routine, mix it up alittle.
March 2, 2007, yahoeey! 4.8 lbs off and grand total of 19 lbs.! Next week is the
last weigh in and grand finale of the Greenville Shrinkdown. After that I will be weighing myself at home which is fine since
our scales almost exactly match up. I havent had much problem dieting. The food I eat now I prefer over even fast food (which
was always my downfall!). I have been posting pics of my dinners because I want to show how I eat alot of food, I am never
hungry and I am still losing weight! Exercise has been fine as long as I fit it in, I try for every day but in reality probably
do it 5 days a week. I'm okay with that since the weight is still coming off. The weight comes off weird, some weeks its little
or no loss then the next week a good amount comes off, I dont know why but I will take it any way I can get it!
March 10, 2007- Went to the Greenville Shrinkdown finale and it also was the kick
off of the Get Fit Greenville, a 10 week program of exercise at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days. Had the last weigh in
for the shrinkdown and I was quite disappointed, I gained 2 lbs. I wouldnt mind if I had cheated but I have watched every
drop of food I put in my mouth and still gained. I guess it may be this weird way I am losing, hopefully next week I will
lose a decent amount, I will just plug away. No cheating for me, getting under 200 is way too big a goal for me, I CANNOT
wait for that day! Got the badmitton set, put it up and have been playing that! Its been in the 70's here so the weather
cannot be more beautiful! Now I have to make sure I get my 30 minutes in each day!
